Hotel Fox

 315. The Anti Gravity Room

The 4th dimension. Although they usually work together on nearly everything, Stephen has taken the driving seat for the design of their Hotel FOX room. “Give me the key”, was his first response to being offered the project. “The aim and trick” in designing a room says Stephen, “is to take it into the 4th dimension”. Room 315 should be like: “Kubrick's handwritten notes for The Shining and 2001 A Space Odyssey got mixed up by David Lynch by mistake.”

Neasden Control Centre – United Kingdom: The visual design agency Neasden Control Centre say they work for anyone bright and daring enough to hire them. Their edgy, punky, hand-drawn illustration style is achieved through a variety of media that include found objects, pens, photography and Macs. Neasden comprises Stephen Smith and Marcus Diamond and is named after the North London building where they have their studio. Clients include Island Records, Playboy, 4AD and MTV.
