Kinpro – Japan:
The Japanese illustrator
Shinya Chisato creates little fantasy fairytale worlds
with a minimal palette of harmonious and discrete
forms. The symmetry and balance to be found in her
work is very much part of the great graphic tradition
of her country. Kinpro designs primarily for magazines
and the advertising industry. She has worked for Nike
and designed wallpapers for the Maxalot Exposif collection.
She is perhaps best known in Japan for her Curione
character for The Hokkaido Shimbun Press.
