Form and function. E-Types are also conscious
of their pedagogic duties and hope that a stay in their rooms
will make their guests think and reflect upon the different
issues embedded in the design: “Every day, we are bombarded
with around 10,000 written messages in newspapers, on billboards
and on the computer screen. Very few people are aware of the
massive quantity of typographies they are exposed to each
day, and how important the font is in making the message come
across in a situation of information overload.”
E-Types – Denmark:
This Copenhagen brand agency has firmly made its mark
on the Danish design scene. Their graphic design style
is quite purist and an interesting blend of text and
typography. They are the designers of the highly acclaimed
new Danish daily newspaper “Dagen” and
other customers include the Danish Ministry of Culture,
Aquascutum, Georg Jensen and Levis.
E-Types are the functional scientists amongst the
Hotel FOX artists and revel in the cool, sober discipline
of their room designs. www.e-types.com
